retro photographic ltd and FotoImpex, Berlin, today announce an agreement to work together in the UK market. Under the terms of the agreement,  FotoImpex will acquire a shareholding in retro photographic ltd and each company will have access to their respective product lines and will share company branding, marketing, logos and trademarks.  In addition, retro photographic ltd will become the sole source for all FotoImpex products in the UK and Ireland.

Nigel Dear of retro photographic comments ‘we are extremely excited about our new partnership with FotoImpex,  both companies share the same marketing philosophies centred around Black and White traditional photography’. 

He adds ‘FotoImpex has built an extremely successful business model in the 12 years or so it has been operating in Germany and therefore brings a wealth of expertise in terms of product knowledge as well as new products which we will be adding to our existing portfolio’such as the adox line of films, papers, chemicals and lighting.

FotoImpex, based in Berlin, Germany is a major importer, distributor and retailer of traditional photographic products and already has a partnership agreement with J&C Photography in the USA.
