FOMAPAN R 100

General
FOMAPAN R 100 is a panchromatic black-and-white reversal film intended for taking  black-and-white slides and/or for making movies.

Characteristic
The nominal film speed is ISO 100/21
o
Due to a undercoated very effective silber antihalo layer the film features very good resolving power and high contour sharpness. This antihalo layer will be decolorised during the developing processing.
FOMAPAN R 100 is produced on a cellulose triacetate safety film base of a thickness of 0,125 mm suitable when high mechanical and dimensional stability and high life expectancy are required.

Development
For the optimum results following the processing is recommended :

Safelights
Total darkness or infrared light is recommended until the washing before reexposure

(the 6th  step of processing). However, i f a illumination is necessary, it is possible to

use a safelight fitted with Agfa 108 filter (15 W bulb, indirect light, at least 150 cm distance from the workplace)

Resolving Power 115  lines per mm

Granularity (RMS) = 13,0

Sizes
This material is usually produced as
• 16 mm size film, perforated one-side or double-side
• 2 x 8 mm film (standard) DS 8 film (2x Super 8 mm)
• 35 mm film perforated double-side

Storage
The unexposed material should be stored in the original packing at a temperature from 4 o C to 18 oC and a relative humidity less than 60% out of reach of harmful steams, gases and ionizing radiation. After a long term storage at a low temperature before usage the film shall be kept for about 4 hours at the ambient temperature in the room where it is going to be handled. The exposed material should be processed as soon as possible. In case this condition cannot be kept the film should be stored at a temperature from 4 o C to 18oC and a relative humidity less than 60 % out of reach of harmful steams, gases and ionizing radiation. The processed material can be usually stored at a temperature not more than 21oC and a  relative humidity from 40 to 50%. For a long term storage such as in archives, special provisions of the corresponding institutions should be kept.
