Just
send us an email or fax in which you specify what you like
to get and where you can post all kinds of questions. We
will try to respond within one day.
Parcels
should arrive in 2-5 days within Europe. Please note:
Internet tracking is only available for Germany. The
shipping rate to all European countries bordering Germany
is
10 EUR only.
Shipping
to the US costs 20 EUR with economy postal service for all
orders above 100 EUR.
Of course, you can also call us. Please bear in mind the 8
hour time difference to Eastern American Time (we´re 8
hours ahead).
It's all very easy: You let us know your address and email
and we send you a precash invoice. After we received the
funds we ship the merchandise.
If you live within the EUR zone the cost of the bank
transfer should not be more than a domestic transaction if
you provide BIC and SWIFT to your bank.
If you transfer money no charges will be applied from our
side.
You may also choose PayPal for making your payment but
since PayPal is charging extra fees your invoice will show
a 3 % fee.

Important Notice: Our way of keeping the best prices for
you involves a sophisticated stock management. We try to
offer you a wide variety of products including sizes and
grades that our competitors refuse to carry due to small
turnover. The most common products are always in stock for
immediate delivery and so are the unusual sizes and
surfaces. However, we keep small amounts of these and thus
it may sometimes be out. Of course, we can place a reorder
with the manufacturer for you but it may take 6-8 weeks and
sometimes even longer. Therefore, we ask you to please plan
ahead and/or instead of sending a fax, please call us or
send an email so we can check availablity and keep you
updated on the delivery status.
Consumer staisfaction guarantee/return policy:
If you
are unhappy with anything you purchased from Fotoimpex you
may send back the goods within 6 weeks from the date of
your purchase for a refund.
Goods must be in mint condition and fully restockable. This
guarantee is an extension of your legal rights and does not
affect your other rights.
Quality claims can be made within one year of purchase. In
respect to sensitized materials not every claim is
necessarily a true quality issue. The process is sometimes
complex and there are incompatabilities between certain
papers or films/chemistry. In order to decide on a quality
claim we ALWAYS need back some unexposed sensitized
material as well as a sample showing the problem.
Before seding it back to us it often helps to send us a
scan together with the following informations:

Emulsion number
- Chemistry used
- Colour and type of safelight
- Developing procedure (e.g. 1 Minute in Eukobrom
developer, 30 Sec. Stop bath citric acid 3%, 3 Minutes
Rapid Fixer 1+10)
These informations alos must be handed in together with a
send-in claim.
Note:
Many thought to be claims have been resolved in advance by
our technicians.
In order
to make it most convinient for our customers we treat
quality claims as follows:
As soon as we receive back claimed sensitized material
together with a proof of purchase and a sample showing the
problem you will receive a credit note for the amount of
material you have sent back to us. We then inspect the
matter and decide on the eligibility of the claim. If the
product proofs to be mismanufactured we extend your refund
to the full purchasing price of the box plus your postage.
If we find that the material is not defective we will help
you to find the problem. If you want to we will send you
back your product free of charge (so it´s freight costs on
both sides) or alternatively you can keep your credit note
and buy something else or ask for full money back.
